In this space, I hope to share some of my thoughts, and a bit of news on the teams and sports that mean the most to me. First and foremost, I'm an Ohio Bobcats fan, and overall fan of the Mid-American Conference -- #MACtion. I'm a fan, also, of all things Cincinnati -- Reds, Bengals, Bearcats and Musketeers.
Beyond discussing my favorite teams, I hope to share some insights from my sports coverage with The Charleston Daily Mail. I cover Charleston-area and Kanawha Valley high school sports throughout the year, with a focus on football, basketball, baseball and cross country.
As a former stringer for The Parkersburg News-Sentinel, former full-time reporter with The Register-Herald (Beckley, WV) and now with The Daily Mail, I've traveled across the Mountain State far and wide covering the state's best and brightest athletes.
